Terms of use

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

Accessing and using STAIR implies acceptance of these terms of use. If you do not agree with them, you must not use the site.

2. Nature of the service

STAIR is a research and technical demonstration platform developed as part of a Final Degree Project. The prediction models, backtests and simulations it offers are experimental and do NOT constitute financial advice, an investment recommendation, or an invitation to trade in the markets. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

3. User accounts

Access to certain features requires registration with an email address and a password. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from their account.

4. Acceptable use

The user agrees not to use the site for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to breach its security, not to automate mass access (scraping) that degrades the service, and not to use the platform in a way that misrepresents its academic nature.

5. Service availability

As this is an academic project without commercial infrastructure, continuous availability or a specific service level is not guaranteed. The site may experience interruptions, maintenance or changes without prior notice.

6. Limitation of liability

The author is not liable for direct or indirect financial losses arising from the use of the information, predictions or simulations offered by STAIR. Any investment decision is the sole responsibility of the user.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the site (code, design, text, brand) is the property of its author, unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced or distributed without express authorization.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in applicable regulations. The version in force is always the one published on this page.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
